Korean FDA Approval
Sabinsa’s ForsLean® has been granted approval by the Korean FDA as a Functional Health Food Ingredient (Permission No. 2009-47). This approval followed a thorough review of the complete ForsLean® dossier, including safety, toxicology, and supporting scientific data. Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award 2004
Sabinsa was honored with the Research & Development Council of New Jersey’s 2004 Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award in the Consumer/Small Company category, recognizing the innovation behind the development of ForsLean®. The award highlighted U.S. Patent No. 5,804,596, which covers Sabinsa’s pioneering methods for preparing Coleus forskohlii extracts to support lean body mass and to aid in mood-related applications.
Nutracon Award 2001
Sabinsa was conferred with “The Nutracon Best Product Award 2001” for ForsLean®, its proprietary ingredient, which has been patented for its use in promoting lean body mass at the Nutracon conference held in San Diego, CA, USA. This award was given based upon its scientific merits.
